DIE ARCHE - Berlin Hellersdorf

I'm a dreamer! ...I'm a dreamer!

It really disturbs, that the basket is upsidedown...
Some "gangster"-acting with lil' Jessi!
So much for now!

Working outside

If the weather is good, it's really great to work outside! Well, here the weather wasn't that good, but we had to clean the windows.

This is Danny^^, he's cool. Just tiny, light weight - like nothing, and cute

He was so anxious that he wanted me to catch him when he slides down.

(Sorry for looking so stupid...)

This is Celina: Appearences are deceptive ;-)! But she is actually really nice.

In the background you can see an example for all buildings in Berlin-Hellersdorf (actually this one is still too much coloured!)

Euhmm... uff... Nancy? I'm not sure... doesn't matter! I tried to teach her driving Inline-Skates, hard work, but we have a lot of fun :-)! (And no! I know it looks like, but she didn't fell! - Not this time...)

The next one: Have you EVER seen anything so cute!

Isn't that a big thumb?!? We thought about it, if that's the reason why he sucks his thumb the whole time or if the thumb is that way because he sucks it the whole time...

This is Jessica, no teeth in the middle of her upper teeth, just a few black remains of the once existed teeth. Some people come to "Die Arche", 6 years old, and get their first teethbursh here! Unfortunately no exception!

Kids-Party

This is the highlight of the week, the Kids-Party where we sing songs, play games, have a short message and in the end a raffle. At the moment we are starting a new concept that's very similar to the one they use in New York in MetroMinistries.

In this game they had to run through the room to the chair with the balloon and sit on it so it bursts. We split in 2 groups, one half is the "street"-side and the other half is the "court"-side (it's named by the "things" you can see when you look out of the window on each side). Everybody can earn points for his/her group and in the end the group with the most points wins anything special...

Bernd "da big chief" Siggelkow ;-) with 2 kids.

Here you can see some kids numbing my legs..... (I call the coloured one "little Denzel Washington", sometimes he has exactly the same expression in his face!)

Out of work...

This is when I arrived at home after waiting hours for the tram in the night... I just came home and fell on the couch, but I got catched by the camera when a roomate woke up early in the morning and saw me...

The Holocaust-memorial in Berlin at the Potzdamer Platz. It's really interesting and nice!
out of the tram...

I have to say, we have a real want of knifes in our flat share, so you use what you can find ;-)
